Brilliant
Booked Jaz to train lead work, jumping up at other dogs and people and resource guarding for 2 sessions. Had lead work session today. Took her twice after without her harness. She didn't pull just trotted next to me and stayed sat when other dogs and people approached. Amazing. Resource guarding seen marked improvement Will keep the training up and would definitely recommend. Thanks Jaz.

Brilliant
Indy our 6yr old greyhound was completely traumatized by fireworks going off right above his head during a walk. He became extremely reactive to noise and would shake constantly on his walks and hated going out. He didn't even want to go in the garden really and then we contacted Jaz. We had two 1to1 sessions with her. She was very friendly, and we followed her advice. Now Indy loves his walks and is so confident. He wants to go out, no more shaking and is back to being his cheeky self. Bit worried about possible fireworks during Jubilee weekend but we should be ok as we know how to deal with them now. Thank you so much Jaz, you've made the world of difference to our boy.

Great one to one training
We booked a block of sessions to help with our puppy Luna, who was reactive/ barking at people and other dogs and also to help with recall training. Jaz was great! She was brilliant at teaching us what we needed to do to help Luna. She was also available in between sessions when we had questions. I am really glad we found her and would recommend Jaz to anyone who has a new puppy or a dog who needs help with behaviour issues!

Fantastic first training session
I and my dog Finn had our first training session with Jasmine today. Finn took to Jasmine straight away which amazed me because I had booked 1 2 1 training because Finn is reactive to a lot of people and other dogs. Jasmine is really relaxed and positive and the whole session was about rewarding Finn and keeping him happy, focused and calm. I am really looking forward to the next session and have booked the intermediate class as well. I know exactly what I need to work on now with Finn and this was all backed up with a fact sheet that was given to me. I would highly recommend Paws and Praise - thanks Jasmine

Awesome
Both myself and Bella love Jasmine's classes they are very easy going and fun and Bella loved being able to do meets and greets with the other dogs x

Very helpful sessions
We have had two 1-2-1 sessions with Jaz and she has been great in making us understand our dogs behavior and feel more confident about training him. One of our sessions involved a walk in which Jaz gave us some great tips on how to make our puppy walk when he doesn't want to and how to deal with other dogs. Jaz is very understanding and listens carefully to what you would like to achieve with your dog. She interacted great with our pup and demonstrated in depth all her techniques for us. I would highly recommend her and her techniques and we are very much looking forward to some more sessions in the future!

2 Year old Collie
Jaz worked with buddy for two sessions and the results speak for themselves! Buddy is now a happy lad when people come in our house, instead of barking and showing signs of aggression. We have great knowledge and tips when walking him on his lead to stop him lunging towards dogs, cats, cars and bikes and walking him is now a pleasure! We continue to work on his behaviour around children and his progress is far greater than we expected! Thanks Jaz and we will see you at group classes soon! Would recommend her work to anyone that needs help!

Dylan
I have just completed the 4 day Residential with a Twist with my reactive boy Dylan and would highly recommend it. We both feel so much more confident and instead of panicking as soon as I see a dog, I am immediately seeking out the best position to work with Dylan on his training. Tonight we conquered the local running club, dogs, cats and numerous bikes! I now look forward to walks just so we can practice! Jaz is an excellent trainer - very adaptable, calm and non-judgemental and Dylan took to her straight away. Can't wait to show off our progress in a few weeks!

1-2-1 Training
What a difference I've seen in my Westies after spending a few 1-2-1 sessions with Jasmine. She really helped me understand how to get the best out of them, from walking on a lead to being less reactive around other dogs. Walking them is so much more pleasurable now, can't thank Jas enough, would highly recommend.

Puppy Training Classes
Finn and I had a lot of fun with Jaz and the other puppies and their owners at puppy training. I learnt loads - and Finn did too 🙂 - but mainly me... which is probably just the way it should be! Jaz explains things clearly and can point out small details, which make all the difference in helping you to train your pup successfully. Looking forward to moving on to intermediate level now we have our first certificate 🙂

Jaz will hate it but she IS the dog whisperer
We were recommended by a friend after Angus had been attacked by a dog off the lead and out of control.
Since the attack his attitude changed he became unresponsive and difficult.
After one session with Jaz everything changed he enjoyed walks and training and went back to the dog we had before.
Thanks Jaz you were brilliant!

1-2-1 training
Jasmine is brilliant and we would highly recommend her! We have had two 1-2-1 sessions with our border terrier Martha and Jaz has been great with her. She has really helped us to understand Martha's behaviour and shown us lots of ways to make her feel more comfortable with new dogs and situations on our walks. Jaz has been incredibly friendly and understanding of our concerns and has helped us to make achievable goals so that we can all enjoy our walks. We have learnt some great strategies to cope with our problems and we now feel more confident and look forward to going out with Martha to put what we learnt into practice. Thank you for your patience Jaz!

Puppy training
Thank you for all the help with trying to get an extremely hyperactive cooper to listen and learn whilst he's far from perfect he's miles better than he was before we came and hopefully will be miles off where he will be when we start the next class!

Reactive Training
Buddy my rescue Border Collie is fear reactive to other dogs and it was so difficult to walk him before we found Paws and Praise. Jasmine understood at once the problems we encountered daily on our walks and gave good practical advice and techniques to help Buddy. Jasmine has given us the confidence to enjoy our walks. Buddy is a work in progress and will take time to overcome his fears but he loves his training sessions just like playdays!

Dog training
Jaz's friendly advice has been helping us try to combat our dog's fear of strangers and we are getting there slowly. Her tips for general obedience training are really helpful too and I would certainly recommend her to anyone wishing to train their dog in a happy and relaxed class

Holly the Staffie
We had our first session with Jasmine today, after rescuing Holly who is not too fond of other dogs ! Jasmine was very calm and helpful and Holly loved her too. We had a great time today and learnt so much, we can't wait for our next session!

Breakthrough result

Intermediate Class
Jack and I have learned so much from Jaz and the venue has given him opportunity to practice what he's learned with a wide range of environmental distractions. Very useful activities for pet dog training, just what we needed.

Excellent trainer
Jaz is a very calm trainer, she taught me so much my dog is a challenge he jumps up barks won't except other dogs and can be aggressive ,and has she taught me I realise it's the owner and the dog that needs the training , I would recomend this lady to everyone if you won't to achieve please use Jess xxx

Home visit

First session with Jaz
Baxter is as wilful as he is cute, all 5Kg of him!! First session with Jaz was amazing, Baxter was attentive and content, a really good session. We are now working with Baxter on a 3 times daily basis - hoping a little and often is the best measure. He is making progress, albeit slowly. Looking forward to our next meeting with Jaz.

Reactive Dog Training
Jasmine is amazing! My dog Maggie is very nervous and reactive, we worked on calming techniques and how to turn the things she was scared of into positives. Jasmine is professional, patient and has done wonders for Maggie in just a few sessions.
Can't thank her enough, and would absolutely recommend!

A Weight Off...
Am so pleased to have found Jaz. This is my first puppy and I don't mind admitting it's a lot more work than I ever imagined. I have had 1 to 1 visits and phone support...superb in every way. Would recommend Jaz without any hesitation!

Great first experience of puppy training
We've had our first one to one training session at our house with out children and puppy and it's gone really well. Some great tips on training and getting the kids involves. Just booked up for Jaz's classes.

1:1 session
Had our first session with Jaz and already seeing a difference in our puppy, based on her advice. She is patient and calm and the 1:1 session was much better for our boy than classes with lots of other dogs. She is full of good advice and has already followed up with an email and sent us work sheets, so we can keep up the good work. I would recommend her if you want positive training techniques in a relaxed environment. Cant wait for our next class 🙂

Really good at what she does.
Very impressed with the way she dealt with teaching my mother how to work with her dog, and how she got her standard poodle to pay attention and do some basic responses. Highly recommended. My mother commented that she didnt know there was so much to it.

Fantastic training and support
Jaz has been fantastic in 1-1s, classes and on social walks with my rescue dog who is very nervous around people. She is very patient and a great teacher who knows her stuff. It has been wonderful to see my dog build up trust in her and he has come a long way since we started attending classes - I couldn't recommend Paws and Praise more highly!

Fantastic
We had our first one to one training session with Jaz at the weekend and she was fantastic. So patient and friendly with us and our little dog. She showed us how to continue the training on our own. She even asvised us on food and equipment to help our dog. Would recommend to anyone.

Jasmine is amazing!!!
Jasmine is amazing, I would highly recommend! She's turned my little dog who was yappy and nippy round! I saw a difference in him from the first 1-2-1 I had!
If I had another dog is defiantly be calling jasmine again for training. Lovely lady xx

1-1 off lead sessions
My 2 young basset hounds had no recall skills what so ever.
Jas was very patient and had a great level of knowledge about dogs and there behaviours. She taught me recall skills which I used daily at home. Now my basset hounds have enjoying off lead walks and are coming back when called.
She's also taught me how to use a clicker and this has really helped my 2 dogs.
I would recommend her to anyone.
I have been to two training schools in the past and jas is by far the most patient and understanding

Jaz is patient and thoughtful..even when you have a dog that’s so nervous he blanks everything. Really helped my partner understand how and listened and adapted training to our families needs.

Enjoyable and Productive lessons
We really enjoy our 121 lessons with Jasmine. Not only has my German Shepherd Kaiser learnt a number of behaviours that mean family life with him is easier but I also have a greater understanding of my dogs behaviour and why he does certain things. Jasmine does a fab job!!!

Tilly
Jasmine is very understanding & very confident in her method of training. Our Tilly had lost faith in that dogs weren't nice, she was stressed & un happy (a real barker). We had 6wks of 1-1 with Jasmine & progressed to a small group for 6 wks. We now have a happier Tilly. We would recommend Jasmine to those who would like a happy & confident dog & owner.

We knew bringing a puppy into a household with 2 children aged 6 and 2 would be hard work but with Jasmine's techniques and friendly classes we have a very well behaved pup! Would highly recommend! Thank you.

Jaz really helped me and my dog Sam and gave me a better understanding of my pet and his behaviour. Without her help I would be struggling to manage I cant thank her enough for the positive effect that she has had on our pet , very professional and polite highly reccommended

    Jasmines` technique of praise and reward is brilliant! My lurcher really fretted when she saw another dog, it was bark bark bark;got into a real tizzy! Over time Tilly started to relax and learn that other dogs are not that bad after all! Jasmine understands dogs and knows how to address dog behaviour. Tilly plays with her flannel in a play field and ignore other dogs,she can walk infront and behind other dogs,magical! We will continue Tillys` training with Jasmine in the New Year. Thankyou Jasmine

    My 10 month old cockapoo responded very well to Jasmine and her methods. Her training is very positive, reward-based and she keeps her voice quiet and non-aggressive. It works. We only had an hour, but after that time I am very confident of the way forward with issues such as pulling on the lead, jumping up at the table, leaving objects and more. Jasmine also sent me some advice sheets to back up what she taught me. Thank you!

    Jas is a great trainer – I can’t recommend her highly enough. It took her only an hour to get Banjo’s ‘over excitement’ with other dogs under control using positive training methods, and I was able to use the same methods right away to keep Banjo calm and quiet around dogs, cyclists and anything else she wants to chase. It makes our walks a lot more fun – if you want an excellent dog trainer speak to Jas!
