My story as a dog trainer
My name is Jasmine (Jaz) and my experience as a dog trainer started 9 years ago when I had Dougle an English Bull Terrier pup at 9 weeks old, he was such a lovely lad, I started by going to puppy classes with him and working with him to gold Kennel Club standard.
My real training started when I took on an English Bull Terrier cross rescue called China with predatory aggression this ranges from minor to major this is where everything that moves quickly she wants to chase so I have done a lot of work with her and she is now a different dog. This problem is usually managed rather than cured and I have learned so much from her.
I then decided to go on a professional dog training course with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. I have also helped out at my local dogs trust there are some lovely dogs there. I have also attended a Victoria Stilwell (it’s me or the dog) seminar for 2 days which is all about positive positive positive.
I have also completed a diploma in canine behaviour with the international school for canine practitioners, I have also completed a Foundation Degree in canine behaviour and training science (FDSC) with Bishop Burton collage
I have seen first hand how +R training can change the way a dog thinks and I believe I can teach you these essential tools.
My name is Dougle
Dougle was a special boy who had helped many dogs in learning a different behaviour around him, in normal situations these dogs would be reactive towards dogs, Dougle was the man !!!, so happy and relaxed around dogs especially with some chicken on the go 🙂 unfortunately we had to say our good buys to him on the 13th of September as he was loosing his battle with his condition (DCM) everyone who met him fell in love with him. He was a massive cuddle monster and got everyone laughing. I believe he has gone on to bigger and better things 🙂
